Services

Individual Therapy (Adults)
Virtual therapy for adults seeking support with emotional regulation, trauma processing, identity development, and relationship patterns.

Philosophy of Care

Therapy at Sibony Therapy is intentional, paced, and relational. Sessions are designed to feel contained yet expansive—offering both emotional depth and structure. Rather than a one-size-fits-all approach, treatment is tailored to the client’s nervous system, relational patterns, and personal history. The work is not about fixing, but about understanding, integration, and sustainable change.

Modalities & Therapeutic Approaches

Our work integrates evidence-based techniques with humanistic and relational frameworks, allowing therapy to be both structured and deeply personal. Treatment is always tailored to the individual, with flexibility to meet your needs, goals, and pace.

Brainspotting

A neurobiological approach that supports deep emotional and trauma processing beyond traditional talk therapy. Brainspotting helps access and release stored emotional experiences, supporting nervous-system regulation and trauma healing.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

A structured, evidence-based approach that examines the relationship between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. CBT supports insight into unhelpful thinking patterns while developing practical strategies for change.

Collaborative Therapy

Therapy is approached as a partnership. Goals are developed together, progress is reviewed regularly, and the client’s voice, values, and lived experience remain central to the work.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)

A skills-based approach focused on emotional regulation, distress tolerance, impulse control, and interpersonal effectiveness. DBT is especially helpful for anxiety, emotional reactivity, overwhelm, and difficulty managing intense emotions.

Gottman-Informed Therapy

An evidence-based relational framework that supports communication, emotional attunement, conflict management, and relationship stability.

Humanistic & Person-Centered Therapy

Rooted in empathy, authenticity, and respect for autonomy, this approach emphasizes personal agency, self-understanding, and growth. Therapy is guided by the belief that individuals possess the capacity for insight, healing, and meaningful change.

Narrative Therapy

Focuses on exploring the stories we hold about ourselves and our lives. Narrative work helps clients separate themselves from problems, reframe experiences, and build new, more empowering perspectives.

SFBT

Solution-Focused Brief Therapy is a goal-oriented, evidence-based approach that focuses on solutions rather than problems.

Systemic & Attachment-Focused Therapy

Explores relational patterns, family-of-origin dynamics, and attachment experiences that influence emotional regulation, relationships, and identity.
